World Religions and the Christian Churches

Through the ages, the Catholic Church (Christianity) has suffered violence, and continues to suffer accusations, dejections and all sorts of tackles both from non-Christians, non-catholic Christians, and some Catholics themselves. These persecutions have sometimes came in form of schism, apostasies, heresies etc. These issues, concerning the Church's teachings, beliefs, traditions, and even her power and source of authority, have become more expansive and, as long as the Church exists, will continue. The Church of Christ has become an object of attack and ridicules all through the years. The missionaries have not find it easy wherever they are sent on mission. And the most turbulent issue is that this time the missionaries are persecuted by some members of the Church.
