Abigael despaired of ever finding someone to love. A life of service to her obnoxious brother and family seemed her only choice until she read the advert for a mail order bride. There was one catch. There were twenty beautiful women vying for the position and Abigael didn't fit the profile of 'pretty wife'. Against all odds, Bryan chose her as one of the women to join him in Africa for a trial period. But would she make the final cut? Bryan might be an eligible bachelor, but life in the African bush was not an ideal wife rich environment. He wanted someone to work alongside him and share his passions both inside the home and out. The work included protecting the African tribe from greedy mineral hunters, putting their lives at risk and they were forced to trust the children and elderly to have their backs as they struggled to find a safe solution.
