Beskrivelse
"there is no tomorrow;
all days are the same.
I will never watch flowers grow;
the garden is rotten.
I could lie on my side forever,
and listen to the rain.
the grey mood is soothing after all,
the passing cars not that bothersome.
there is no tomorrow;
all days are the same.
I don't want to get used to it,
but I already am."
It is always hard to leave familiar, warm, comfortable or poisonous places, but necessary. "Why I Left My Hometown" is the story of my growing up in a small town and all the things that made me who I am. Most importantly, it describes the emotions I felt when I decided to leave and some of the reasons why. I knew that the rest of the world was worth exploring and that I needed some distance to open my eyes. Find the strength to escape and live out your ambitions and dreams in this collection of poems.
