As Buffett says, they compound. Compounding is money earning money on its earnings every period. Study the chart below. The wealthy stay wealthy by paying lower fees, charges, commissions and taxes. Their fee schedules are 0.01-0.05% not 1.5-3%. They buy only what they need so their costs-sales commissions-are less. They don't use middle(wo)men because they know financial advisors only use their firms' high-cost products.
