Beskrivelse
This richly illustrated book catalogues works in the exhibition TzinTzunTzan, place of the hummingbirds--again. These works include proposals, design plans and perspective for the hummingbird landscape habitat restoration at Tzintzuntzan, a national archaeological site in Michoacan, Mexico, as well as accessible scientific charts on hummingbird and plant species and more impressionistic and evocative installations and videos. This book also contains related essays by the Tzintzuntzan Hummingbird Habitat co-chairs Brenda Brown and Roberto Lindig-Cisneros, as well as archaeologists Jasinto Robles-Camacho and Arturo Oliveros-Morales, art historian Andrea Silva Cadena, composers Richard Festinger and Rodrigo Sigal, ornithologist Jorge Schondube, ecologists Susan Galatowitsch, Consuelo Bonfil, Daniela Fernandez y Fernandez and Mario Gonzalez-Espinos, and writer/architect Robert B. Riley. Each offers a different perspective on this multifaceted project.
