Except, things aren't as straightforward as they seem. When they discover the vampires might not be the killers they thought them to be, the partners infiltrate the nest and befriend the vamp Leo.

He's hesitant, but decides to help when they relay the seriousness of the situation. He has always taught his family to leave humans alone, so if someone has gone rogue, he believes it to be his responsibility to find the culprit.

The truth is surprising ... as is the relationship brewing between Dan and Charlotte.
