Trust Me, Trustee

This book is about a truly remarkable daughter who not only took care of her aging mother but has been faced with challenging family affairs, trusts, Alzheimer's Disease, lawsuits, and the Lord's Grace. 



"Human relationships are the most difficult inclusions in our lives. I call them inclusions because we have to have them from birth or die. Mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents can cause us joy or grief. If we focus on human beings for our worth, appreciation, love, purpose, and all other quests to fulfill life as it continues, we will undoubtedly uncover loss, pain, and hurt. 



This isn't God's plan, however, that we experience negativity through relationships. He wants, instead, for us to see and hear Him all about us every day; He wants to be our

"audience of One." He wants to be our all. When we get ready to leave this place we mistakenly call "home," we will step into the real world, where relationships will flourish because they are not tainted with sin. Until that time, He asks us to trust Him. 



Perhaps before eternity reveals itself to me, I can reach out to my siblings. At present, they feel no remorse or need to be forgiven, so I will continue to ask God, the One who reveals Himself every day, to soften their hearts and save them. Being in the mental state Mom had been in might have given her the ability to forget hurts, or maybe not. I can't forget yet. I want to, but I can't. If, by any chance, you experience a loved one with

Alzheimer's, are appointed as trustee and are sued in the end, I pray that in some way, my story will encourage you to look, as I am still looking, at His presence in all the gifts He gives so freely every day."
