"Travails and Triumphs of Semia" is a crime fiction. The happiness of a young family was short-lived when the wife insisted on having the fourth child, Semia. Nancy considered her status in the society more important and ignored many workable options she had to care for her sickly baby, Semia. Besides, Nancy lost all hopes about Semia's survival because of her chronic health problems. Wicked mother She abandoned her eleven-month old baby in a snake-infested bush. Semia was rescued by two clever dogs from being bitten by a snake and was adopted by Rumba's family. Twenty two years later, Semia was discovered as a qualified nurse/midwife, courtesy of her biological dad's (Henry Blanch) tireless efforts and strategic searches. Finally, Nancy was declared guilty of gross child abuse. She was fined 250,000 Euros and was jailed by a high court judge. Semia lived a happy life with her husband and three children thereafter. The travails and triumphs of Semia emphasized the fact that problems of children can be overcome if parents take good care of them. Parents should not give up on their children and they must not abuse their children.
