Over the last ten years, the perfect serial killer, "The Ghost Murderer," has killed well over 80 victims in the Pacific Northwest. The FBI still has nothing to act on without any blood evidence. Lead detective, Beth Frenke, has only a timeline to work with. After a 10-year absence, Dr. Raelynne LeBlanc must return briefly to Seattle alone, a month after the body of the last victim is discovered. There she reunites with two old friends and her acute, special sensitivity to people when in direct contact, pulls her into their minds. She's shocked to sense in both women something dark, evil and dangerous. Ray decides she must act and begin investigating. Whatever horror her friends may be involved with, must stop. She reunites with Josh, the love of her life, and the only person she can mind-link with. Ray and Josh, two minds together, keep investigating. What they discover makes the nightmare with her friends worse, but puts them distantly, possibly, and dangerously, on the trail of "The Ghost Murderer." With time running out and more murders likely, Ray and Josh intensify their efforts, and at risk to their lives finally find enough solid evidence to bring to the FBI.
