Beskrivelse
This is the first book in my "Reflections Of A Calamity" series. It is a chaotic travel recount of two under-funded and over-planned dreamers. Written by an over-thinking, anxiety ridden, preplanning worrier. Join me on a hilarious journey around Europe as I stumble clumsily through borders, cringe at embarrassing mishaps and revel in unexpected treasures.
Like madness to magnets, disaster attracts us or rather we attract it. Sometimes laughable, sometimes devastating, but always a story worth sharing.
Through writing this I was able to relive our treasured adventure and came to the realisation that I was destined to return home traumatised by my own dramatic narratives when, in fact, I should have been having fun. My over-anxious inner monologues had the capability to create further problems and lay upon a recurring fear of death during our time of freedom. Now totally laughable, as I wonder at the curiosity that is the mind.
These trips had their problems, voluminous problems, but without much intervention from us they had a weird way of solving them too.
Travel with us through seven European and three Southeast-Asian countries, plus some additional short disasters, and learn what not to do.
