The Sommelier

A superyacht materialises in the Black Sea, its automatic identification signal suddenly switched on. MI6 take a passing interest and when it docks in Istanbul, an agent is tasked to keep it under surveillance. Initially it appears nothing is out of the ordinary until the agent's images reveal a dangerous connection. It is just three years since the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine to bring it under its umberella and Europe is becoming ever more wary of its President's ambitions, In the wider world, the United States' focus is moving more towards the Chinese threat, NATO is weakening and the countries of the alliance are feeling vunerable, Western security services are on edge and MI6 is beginning to believe that the superyacht is the key to a yet unknown threat.
