The Prism of Her Thoughts is a diverse collection of poetry born whilst exploring the use of poetry as a therapeutic outlet in a women's group. This collection of poems focuses on themes such as black womanhood, single motherhood, relationships, mental health, forgiveness and closure with the aim to encourage resilience.
In this publication, Vicky Nyanga explores the prejudices faced by black women; the complexities they face and the vulnerability of their experiences socially, politically, and economically.
