About the Author
Shirley Woodberry Thomas is the pastor of Deliverance Church of the Living God in Ocala, Florida. She has been in the ministry for forty-five years: twelve years as an assistant pastor and thirty-three years as a senior pastor. Sharing the word of God has been a passionate journey. This journey has led to the writing of this book. By the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, The Poetic Word echo's messages of God's word. God has led her in this unique rendition of the word that will appeal to the poet in each of us, as it reveals the power of Christ in the brightness of God's glory.
