Among the hot topics in this tumultuous year are the beleaguered Brexit deal; Theresa May’s resignation and the search for a new Conservative leader; a milkshake attack on Nigel Farage; the collapse of British Steel; human composting in America; new rulers for Brazil and Venezuela; fires in the Amazon; the proroguing of Parliament, and vicious seagulls.
