His jaw clenched and his eyes flash from Grey to Green. I feel my wolf come to the surface letting her eyes shine their lighter blue to my dark ones. She is not happy. His nostrils flared, It's considered a challenge. He lets off a low growl and my temper gets the better of me. I match it. I can see he is taken by surprise before he masks it. "It's a simple question," he says, "If you have nothing to hide." I still don't like his tone which only makes my smart mouth go off "I don't have anything to hide.'' I say, lifting my chin, "and I don't have to tell you anything about me." He narrows his eyes. I can tell he is having a hard time controlling his wolf. "You. Are. My. Mate." he says, making each word a point. "Everything about you is my business."
Accalia is the last of her pack. Taken in by The Silver River Pack but never treated as part of it. She finally has decided to leave but what she doesn't realize is this is only the beginning. Her original pack was special; the Moon goddess has chosen her to continue what the pack cannot. Will she be able fill her destiny as the Moon Goddess had intended?
