The House on Butcher Road

Author Alan Perkins has been plagued for years with guilt and sleepless nights over his rash decision to buy an old Victorian house, sight unseen. The ghosts that inhabited the house traumatized his wife and two young daughters. After an absence of 15 years, the author returns to Kennet, New York to confront the rumors and stories of evil doings surrounding THE HOUSE ON BUTCHER ROAD. Thinking there may be a story there, he links up with long time resident, Scott, who tells how fate drew him to Kennet. His knowledge of past events is told through the eyes of those involved. This is a story of his life, of Kennet, and its residents, and the life (or lack thereof) of THE HOUSE ON BUTCHER ROAD.
