ALOHA This fictional novel is a Spiritual, Love Story, Mystery about Kelly, an adventurer with a sense of humor. She is a single, middle-aged, meditation teacher, who truly wants to know the answer to attaining enlightenment. Unusual circumstances call her to Kauai, Hawaii where she meets Dave, a visiting NASA scientist who gifts her a shiny Copper Key. This mysterious key is said to open a jeweled box that holds the secret to happiness and is hidden deep in the jungle of Kauai. Dave is destined to return to the mainland USA while Kelly searches to solve the mystery alone.... but is she really alone? Kelly romance-stricken heart is in for the ride of her life. In the novel, you can follow Kelly's thrilling adventures on her danger-laden journey across the isle from death defying hikes TO swimming and kayaking in shark infested waters on the wild Pacific Ocean. Kelly also experiences many telepathic communications with the spirit world including ghosts, night marchers and Hawaiian mythical dragons (Mo'o lizards). Numerous amusing quips and many personal flashbacks of Kelly's vast, international, healing experiences pervade this novel. Hawaiian local characters delightfully flavor her escapades throughout the story line. This intuitive tale honors Hawaiian history, culture and sacred sites. It is dedicated to the environmental protection of Kauai and it's cherished native plants and animals (endangered humpback whales, monk seals, sea turtles, plant and bird life).
