Tobor the Robot plays host to elementary school-age children in this easy-to-use workbook dealing with technology. Designed to promote technological literacy in K-6 classrooms, this guide is a resource for teachers who are trying to integrate technology into the elementary curriculum. The 27 technology learning activities (TLAs) are fun, appropriate for individual or group work, and have been designed to highlight areas of interest to the student, connect to the established national technology content standards, and be integrated into the existing curricula as a companion to such subjects as math, science, language arts, and history. In addition, it also includes evaluation pages for students that help them through the process of solving a problem. Whether used as stand-alone exercises or as part of the regular curriculum, these activities will encourage broad-ranged technological problem-solving skills in young people.
