In stark contrast to the writings of the Apostle Paul, who centered his teachings on the person of Jesus, THE GOSPEL OF TROY, like the apocryphal gospels of Thomas or Judas, centers on the spirit of Jesus' own teachings: the "mystery of the kingdom." A very easy read, it nonetheless challenges conventional ideas of self-worth and individual freedom. It lets in a breath of fresh air for those disaffected by the staleness of religious tradition.
