Giants... in most of our thinking they are creatures of myth, relegated to fairy-tale or fantasy, always large and threatening, often outwitted by a clever, much smaller hero.
This book is titled 'The Giants We Face'. What giants can we possibly face today in our ordinary, everyday lives? What could be the lumbering, menacing forces that stand in the way of our goals, of our purpose and destiny, that stops us from reaching our 'happily ever after'?
Paul Garner has taken the real, biblical story of the Israelites and their journey from slavery in Egypt into the Promised Land and applied it to our lives today. As they explored the land they had been given, the people of God cowered in fear because 'there were giants there'.
Paul draws from his experience as a Christian, a pastor and a therapist and shows that you and I are not so different from those ex-slaves.

a full life in Christ.
