It lives as the physical, tangible, living expression of Christ. Christ's real presence on earth is accomplished in and through His ekklesia, the Church. The ekklesia is not only God's redeemed people on earth; it is the actuality of Christ working in and through His people. Redeemed humanity has become the human agency through which Jesus releases His life, His mission and ministry to the world.
