"I have been sent specifically to perfect noble conduct."

Islam gives each Muslim the challenge and lifelong mission to develop and refine their character, morals, manners, attitudes and behaviour. This mission forms a large and crucial portion of Islamic teachings, and any student of Islamic knowledge must become familiar with this aspect of Islam.

This textbook covers some Qur¿an and hadith texts relating to ¿uquq and akhlaq: the rights of others and behaviour toward them. The teachers should familiarise their students themselves with the texts and words, help them understand the lessons being conveyed and enable them to grasp the practical applications in everyday life.
