Beskrivelse
In his collection of poems, Maina Wang'oo covers a wide spectrum of views ranging from the politics of the 'Big Men' of Africa in the seventies and eighties, to tribalism and corruption. He looks at racism which stains the fabric of a nation founded on equality, as well as gender discrimination which denies half the human population it's rightful share at the table of opportunities. He raises concern over the environment; a theme echoed in many of his poems. This is an emotional collection of poems meant to generate reflection on many issues we face in our lives and loves.
