The Ancient Land Bridge

In this history unit students will gain knowledge and understanding of how, when, and why early man travelled to North America. This unit includes selected readings with corresponding images to help students gain an understanding of people, places, and environments these pioneers encountered. There are many instructional learning materials included in this book including graphic organizers to help with cause and effect, compare and contrast, maps for geography, timelines, vocabulary identification and reinforcement, Identifying cultural characteristics, and distinguishing fact or opinion. This book is in line with the common core curriculum learning standards for elementary social studies.
