The Adventures of Sam Kitty

The Adventures of Sam Kitty is a children's mental health series about a playful, kind, intelligent and curious kitty and his family. Sam finds himself in all kinds of interesting situations. During each adventure, Sam learns a new coping skill designed to support his healthy mental development. Each adventure also includes helpful ideas that parents can employ during difficult moments with their children. This is meant to support parents in their effort to lead, guide, teach, nurture and reinforce healthy psychological skills that can be used all throughout their child's lifetime. In Vol. 1, A little slip up results in Sam experiencing intense emotions and catastrophic thoughts. He learns to cope with his experience using a simple and child-accessible breathing technique, connects with his courage and continues his fun adventure.
