Beskrivelse
Sunset Voices is the fictional account of thirty-three men and women nearing the end of their lives. While these snapshots are primarily stories about death and dying, they also touch on living life in the sunset years. As a hospice volunteer and a member of a Hospice singing group, Rev. D'Vorah experienced first hand the beauty and the power of people at the end of life. As an ordained Interfaith Minister who officiates at memorial services, she knows the importance of providing a context within which to tell the stories of our loved ones lives. Finally, as a woman in the last third of her life, she believes that we can learn to more fully appreciate our lives by embracing our mortality, and offers these "snapshots" as a way to do so. Sunset Voices is a valuable resource for ministers, hospice workers, caregivers, psychologists, gerontologists, family members with elderly relatives, and others who work with, live with, and are themselves people living in the sunset years.
