Clara

My name is Clara Rivers, or at least that's what I'm telling people. I stole an evil power source called the Blue Star and ran away from The Complex, except I can't remember doing it. I woke up on the outskirts of Forest Hills with no memory, a giant blue lightning scar, and a dead man. Now I'm trying to piece together my past while hiding the telekinetic and telepathic powers I can't remember having.

I didn't expect to run into others with powers on my first day of senior year, but they might be the only people who can help me figure out why I stole the Blue Star and have recurring nightmares about my death. I hope we solve it soon. My headaches are getting worse, I'm losing control of my powers, and I desperately want to give in to the evil power source.



Nate

I've never met anyone else with powers except my best friend Glitch, who can teleport, while I control the shadows. I fully expected to hide that power when Clara showed up on the first day of school, but something about her feels different. It's like a connection that draws me in and makes me stronger.

Double that feeling after I accidentally take in part of the Blue Star power source that runs through Clara, creating a bridge between our thoughts. Now I can see the nightmares that haunt her; getting worse while we are no closer to solving the mysteries surrounding the Blue Star and The Complex.

I see Clara slipping away from me as the evil calls her, screaming in her head to give in. I'll do anything to save her, but I'm running out of time. She's dangerously close to an explosion that could destroy herself and everyone around her.
