Beskrivelse
Adsorption science and technology is a well-established field with a broad range of applications. Nevertheless, the handover of knowledge and experience from expert seniors is not always optimal. For example, most publications in the literature merely mention successful results. This means that incorrect results and relevant mistakes are not made public or are shared only in a small circle. For successful research it is necessary to learn from mistakes in the past to avoid mistakes in the future.
Solid-Liquid Adsorption: How to Do Correct Batch Experiments and Analyze Data provides a critical review of the available literature, showing the most frequently made interpretation errors, and provides methodological guidance on the practical use of fundamental concepts in adsorption science and technology to help early career researchers and students to properly plan and carry out adsorption experiments and how to process/interpret the experiment data correctly.
