It is a story that everyone can relate to at some point in their life whether being excluded for being the new person, excluded because of lack of abilities, or excluded because of annoyances, but then has someone who comes alongside them to teach them the right thing to do. Roscoe learns how to include others when his barnyard friends are kind and gentle as they respond to his bossy ways.
