Marriage is a trinity: the husband, the wife and God And this formula is everlasting. The Spirit that is God is in the wife as much as He is in the husband; and He is the eternal bond between a husband and his wife, and He does not depart from them-as one-as long as they both live. That is why marriage becomes the new identity of the man and the woman that are brought together in marriage; and not simply a relationship between them. Marriage is who the two have become: one and inseparable, unless by the power of death or unfaithfulness. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." (Genesis 3:16). And to the husband, God charged, "Because you listened to your wife and ...""
