Beskrivelse

This book, first published in 2010 with Infinity Publishing under the title 'PTSD of a Lesser Known Kind' and then vastly improved when rewritten and renamed 'PTSD, A Lesser Known Kind: Surviving Religious Dogma' in 2013 with CreateSpace (now Kindle Direct Publishing or KDP), has had a great many post-publication revisions made to it and is therefore totally corrupt, this includes both old and new versions. As if that isn't bad enough, there are also multiple inaccuracies in it, historical and theological; and too, there have been a number of changes of opinions and beliefs of mine since 2013 when it was first written or rewritten. The only reason I am keeping this obsolete book "live" is because of the moving and important story it relates. As to these other issues, they will be addressed in a new book slated for release in late 2019, one that will definitely not suffer the taint of a post-publication revision or revisions, unlike everything else I boneheadedly wrote. On now to some justified VENTING: I have reason to suspect Author Solutions, the self-publishing book company out of Bloomington, Indiana who in 2011 and 2012 swindled me out of thousands of dollars on false charges and overcharges, is trying to sell an abnormally oversized and distorted edition of my first 2010 'PTSD' book with Infinity Publishing, doing so with Infinity Publishing's name and logo on it, not theirs. That's the sneaky part of it. This strangely bulky book with scrunched interior print, ugly as anything I ever saw, is not at all how it originally appeared in 2010 with Infinity Publishing when it looked just fine, or at least the book size and interior text had. How Author Solutions obtained the templates of this book file from Infinity Publishing, if indeed they had, and how they placed it inside a wrongly fitting huge book size and how they managed to get it on the Internet for sale are all questions I cannot answer but I have every reason to suspect they had only because I can't picture Infinity Publishing having done that, the only other plausible suspect that might have. I mean if Infinity did that then that would make them look really bad, or worse than they already do since they, too, are cons and bunglers. (For instance, just look on the Internet at the unjustified second paragraph of the back cover text of that 2010 book which was on the book designers at Infinity Publishing to align but which they never did.) It makes no sense. But here's the deal with all that, okay: In my 2013 rewrite of PTSD, A Lesser Known Kind with CreateSpace/KDP I mentioned in the Preface when I was with Author Solutions they issued me the wrong page margins for this same book and so the printed copy I got back from them had excessive blank page bordering small interior text, looking just awful. And now years later, these same disfigurations I described their botching suddenly and mysteriously appears in a new book edition on the Internet with Infinity Publishing's name on it instead of Author Solutions, the ones who both originally and here recently sabotaged; the former a fact, the latter I very much suspect. Bottom line: the faulty page margins and defective interior was Author Solutions' doing alone, no one else's. This is precisely why I suspect them as I do. You know... it's amazing the lengths crooks will go to cover their ass when they know they're in the wrong, like house cats covering their turds in the litter box. But regardless who was behind it, reader, should you purchase a copy of that wack 2010 book from Infinity Publishing (and yet not from them), request a return label from Amazon and get a refund, and you'll get it too, guarantee it. Forget the subject matter, physically speaking there is no excuse for a mangled book like that, the likes of which I have ever seen before. Oh and should you want a copy of the last version of this book, called "2015 Edition," get it from KDP. Peace. -Lenny Francis...December 17th, 2018
