Since the days of the crucifixion two entities have been hiding the truth from mankind. The Roman Catholic Church and the Priory of Sion, both entities have their own goal and reason to hide the truth. The Roman Catholic Church wants the truth hidden or destroyed, because it tarnishes all that they believe in. Jesus is the son of God and there for divine, there is no way that they can accept that Jesus was married to a fallen woman and that together they had a child. The Priory of Sion wants the truth hidden, because mankind is not ready to accept the fact that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and that together they had a child and that their bloodline is still walking the earth to date. The Blood Heritage Trilogy, book 3: After five years of being in a deadlock the conclave of cardinals finally elected a new Pope. Mostly a prophecy about "Peter the Roman" have kept them from voting, as the prophecy says that the 113th Pope will destroy all of faith and Rome. A scholar finally breaks the code of the Roslyn chapel and it spells doom for the world. He races to the Vatican to warn them, but his efforts is coming to late.
