Healing a community begins when men are given the tools and permission to feel, to be heard, to talk, heal, and grow.
Throughout this book you will be gathering the tools and insights to live in a way that teaches you to express yourself more clearly and communicate more effectively. To find out who you are as you heal. To be accountable and responsible for your feelings and actions. Most importantly, as you grow.
The thing that makes the difference is action. It is focused, purposeful practice, and consistency. Focused, consistent energy builds. It grows. It becomes us. We begin to heal. We are better able to contribute to the world we live in.
Included are simple tools to help with this process.

We are complicit, and yet we complain. We are complicit in a system that isn't working. For men to heal and relay that healing into their homes and communities, we need to offer them safe spaces. Spaces that are free of shame and judgement. Spaces for them to bond and let down their guard. Places that go beyond hunting, sports, and bars. Places that offer tools and knowledge. And accountability. Where real conversation happens. We must create more of these spaces. We need to be a safe space for them. We need to celebrate and make these spaces sacred. We must begin with empathy.
