Beskrivelse
This 1918 history of World War I at sea includes an analysis of the performance of the British Navy at the Battle of Jutlandextremely critical of both the British Grand Fleet and Admiral Jellicoe, and hence highly controversial. Jellicoe himself ascribed Pollen's criticism to the fact that he had personally turned down a number of Pollen's inventions, including his fire-control system.
