This book by Rear Admiral Peter Dingemans CB DSO begins with a series of reminiscences from training days and his early career and culminates in a first-hand account of HMS Intrepid's important contribution to the Falklands campaign. It also contains contributions from some of those who served on or passed through HMS Intrepid in the Falklands which is a fascinating, and at times moving, insight into the thoughts and actions of fighting men on a modern warship.
