This book will give you a basic overview of martial arts. This is more of an initial setting but can be a great resource for beginners and advanced alike. There are several types of disciplines in the martial art world; we just need to keep an open mind and know that we all can learn from one another, as the human mind cannot grasp everything all at once. It is always good to have references, which is what the intent of this book is used for, a guide. This book isn't designed to make you an expert but to help give you a better understanding of some of the basics that you can hone on. Everything is formulated from your own basic learning. And, from your own standpoint, once you have mastered your basics you move on to the next. These basics are the building blocks in which we progress. This is seen in everything we do, from school (ex. reading, writing, and arithmetic). As we get older the same thing applies to business with management and leadership. We can then see how this applies to martial arts as well. In the modern age, the martial arts world is changing and people are adapting but the core meaning is still the same. In this book, we can see various basic concepts and hope that they will apply to your needs.
