Prince Gareth Brangwyn, on his quest to intercept a sinister ritual of sacrifice and resurrection at the hands of the Liandri Cult, embarks on the second leg of the Tale of the Prophets of Camilla. He will venture deep into the haunted forgotten depths of the Great Chasm of Lilidel, face unimaginable creatures born of elemental energy and malice, and watch helplessly as the innocence of his teen years begin to fade away. Meanwhile, Liandri is moving ahead with their plans much quicker than first expected, leaving the prince and his companions in ruin.
