As the only Gentile writer found in the New Testament Scriptures, Luke provides a view of Jesus as the fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy: "Arise Shine Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has dawned. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn" (Isaiah 60:1, 3, GWT).As one of the New Testament volumes in Practical Christianity Foundation's Easy-to-Read Commentary series, Luke: Jesus Christ, Savior for the Nations engages readers in an intelligent yet understandable study of God's Word. It is written in a style that makes God's Word come to life in a personal, meaningful way.The study is divided into sections, between six and eight verses, with each section concluding with a "Notes/Applications" passage, which draws practical insight from the related verses that can be applied to the reader's Christian walk.
