In the lawless frontier town of Deadwood, a lone gunslinger known only as Buckshot Robert stands as the last line of defense between justice and chaos. When the notorious outlaw McCreedy and his brutal gang target Deadwood for conquest, only Buckshot has the skill and grit to rally the terrified townspeople against the coming storm.
Facing down McCreedy in a final showdown, Buckshot narrowly prevails but pays a high price. As he struggles back from the brink, nursing his wounds with help from the lovely Violet, news arrives that McCreedy has escaped and plans revenge with an even larger gang. Buckshot realizes their past quarrels were only the beginning - soon both sides will meet their destinies in a battle to decide Deadwood's fate once and for all.
With Violet and the residents of Deadwood looking to him for salvation, Buckshot painstakingly prepares for McCreedy's arrival. The very soul of the town hangs in the balance. When at last the day of reckoning comes, Buckshot must call upon every ounce of courage and conviction to stand against the vicious onslaught before all is lost. His greatest challenge will be embracing the light while staring into the abyss.
