Wild ladies -tresses occur from British Columbia, with the hooded ladies -tresses, "Spiranthes romanzoffiana," to Florida, with Eaton s-ladies -tresses, "S. eatonii." The newest species to science, "Spiranthes stellata," the starry ladies -tresses, is featured.
