Retreating to her imaginary cave at night, Kenya escapes the stigma of her "special education" status and dreams of becoming an R&B diva. When Kenya's mainstreamed into regular classes, she's encouraged to audition for the Telham Park Idol competition. The thrill of meeting new friends and the handsome sophomore quickly goes south when her trust is betrayed. And to worsen matters, personal tragedy strikes.
