If you're reading this, perhaps you've been struggling with guitar techniques for years, and the idea of "maybe I don't have the talent for this" came across your mind. The frustration when you have spent hundreds or thousands of hours in hopes to hone the techniques you dreamed of, just to find out in the end you've been pedaling on the same spot. You went and asked your instructor, and he simply told you you still wasn't spending enough time despite all the pain and effort you went through. I get it, because I've been there myself. I started learning guitar at a very late age of 17 (most professional guitarists start somewhere around ages 7 - 9), and to go through university as music major starting so late wasn't exactly a stroll through the park. This book contains all the essences of what I have learned to help my students and myself break through technical plateaus, it also helped us gain more confidence in believing that we are more capable than we were made to believe. From specific practicing guidelines to personal mindsets, this book is an attempt to skip out all the complexities I went through for the sake of simplicity to be understood by my students, which is why the read is kept short so to put what is learnt into practice, and I sincerely hope more beginners (or advanced) students who are struggling for a breakthrough will benefit from this book.
