Intellectual Engagement

A part of the historical record of the Association of Muslim Social Scientists (AMSS), these first-hand accounts of the Association in its first twenty five years can be a useful resource for researchers interested in the growth of the American Muslim community. This booklet now makes them available to academics and non-academics to contemplate on the challenges and prospects that the early leaders of AMSS saw as they strived to blend the disciplines of social sciences with the overarching worldview of their faith.
