Welcome to the International Conference an Image and Video Retrieval, CIVR2002. Ourconferenceisasnapshotofthecurrentworld-wideresearch inimageandvideoretrievalfromdigitallibraries,databases,andmultimedia collections. Topicsrangefromthestateoftheartinsemanticvisualretrievalto videosummarizationtonewfeaturesandmodelingparadigms.
