I Am

But who do you say that I am? (Life's most important question) When Jesus asked His disciples this question in the sixteenth chapter of Matthew, Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." This is the question we must answer concerning our eternal salvation. Romans 10:9 says: If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. But this is also the question we must answer as we face the daily uncertainties of life. The cares of this world attempt to choke the Word, and the storms of this life seek to divert our attention from our Savior. Day by day, and often moment by moment we need to be reminded of who Jesus is.
