Meanings matter In fact, if our meanings are off, then what we believe is not accurate and we do not portray the Kingdom of Heaven with the precision intended. Listen to Jesus speak to His disciples in Mark 4:24: "And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure of thought and study] you give to the truth you hear] will be the measure of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you-and more besides] will be given to you who hear." (AMPC)In any conversation, there are three things we can listen to: what was said, what we heard, or what was meant. "HSL: Heaven as a Second Language" is a book or, more accurately, a 'dictionary' of words we hear and use a lot in the Christian arena, but often our meanings are skewed with our own filters and worldly understanding. The intent of the Holy Spirit is to realign meanings with the heartbeat of the Father and how things operate in the Kingdom of Heaven. It is part of renewing the mind and getting a higher, eternal perspective. The adventure into His Kingdom is exhilarating, challenging, and full of wonder if you are ready to learn "all things new" (Revelation 21:5). Come discover the language of Heaven.
