Designed with the confident beginner in mind, this pattern will walk you through an easy zipper installation with plenty of photos to guide the process. You'll also have a chance to use one of your sewing machine's "fancy" stitches - the double overlock stitch - with the option of substituting a standard zigzag if your machine doesn't have that capability or you prefer something more basic. Supplies Needed:
- 1/2 yard mid-weight knit fabric, such as polar fleece, sweatshirt fabric or terry cloth
- Scrap of fusible interfacing (at least 1 1/2 by 8 inches)
- Vinyl zipper - 8 inches or longer (will be cut during process)
