English summary: The resurrection or raising of the dead is chiefly of the highest interest, when it is viewed from the perspective of Jesus's resurrection or the general resurrection of the dead at the end of times. How did this idea of the resurrection of the dead, first mentioned in the Old Testament (and so present in early Judaism), come to play such an important role in early Christianity? The New Testament is directly shaped by questions related to the issue of the resurrection of the dead, including both the resurrection of Jesus and its consequences for humanity, especially for Christians. In this work, Jurgen Becker differentiates between the expectations concerning the resurrection contemporary to biblical times and later developments that shaped how we see humanity through the lens of the resurrection.
