Sacrifice: Someone who was devoted to a cause who endured the loss, condemnation, torture and sometimes death for the sake of principle refusing to repudiate their belief or denouncing abolitionism. 8. Virtue: Someone who understands and personified with intensity truth, balance, order, law, morality, and justice through temperance, prudence, and courage.
