Beskrivelse

The independence of Ghana in March 1957 was the occasion for Kwame Nkrumah to reveal all his international and African ambition. His foreign policy took shape around both endogenous and exogenous foundations. Wanting to be very active on the African continent, he mobilized many means and set up several instruments to this effect. Thus, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the African Affairs Centre, to the Office and Secretariat for African Affairs, these instruments express the dedication and commitment of Ghana's first leader and his party, the Convention People's Party (CPP), on the African and international scene.
